Terms of Service

The DNS4Me service can be used for free with the following restrictions and limitations:

• Free DNS4Me service users must abide by the same license agreement in effect for purchased DNS4Me service. This license agreement can be viewed from the installer of the DNS4Me client, under the DNS4Me program group in the Start menu after installation, or in Knowledge Base article #1407.
• Free DNS4Me service is only available for personal, non-commercial, or not-for-profit use. Usage of the DNS4Me service in a for-profit, commercial environment requires paid registration.
• Free DNS4Me service entitles you to use the DNS4Me service for as long as you wish. You are entitled to a free subdomain name, randomly generated by the DNS4Me service upon registration for the free service. This subdomain name will consist of random letters and numbers currently consisting of 8 digits.
• Idle free DNS4Me accounts may be disabled or deleted after a certain period of time. After 20 days of inactivity, an email will be issued to the registered email address reminding you of this requirement. If your free DNS4Me account remains idle for 30 days, it will be deleted. You will need to signup for the free service and receive a new subdomain name in order to continue usage of the free service.
• The free DNS4Me client will display messages and notices from the DNS4Me service from time to time. These messages and notices may consist of RhinoSoft.com related announcements, newsletters, and new releases.
• Certain features of the DNS4Me client are restricted for use with the paid service only. The list of restricted features includes, but is not limited to:
  • Selection of a personalized subdomain name
  • Use of DNS4Me with a primary domain name
  • Built-in Web server
  • Built-in Mail server

We reserve the right to add restricted features to this list or remove them from the list at any time.

In addition, we can no longer accept registration of free DNS4Me domains from free email addresses due to increased abuse of the service and violations of the terms of service by free email domains. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
