Online Port & URL Redirection

Some ISPs block port 80 preventing you from running a web server on the default port and forcing visitors to use a special URL to visit your site. DNS4Me eliminates the need for this special URL letting visitors use a standard URL to visit your server on an alternate port.

Offline Redirection

DNS4Me provides a variety of offline options for you to configure. You can re-route HTTP requests to a custom URL or redirect visitors to the IP address of your choice!

Windows Service Support

DNS4Me can be run as a Windows system service on Windows NT/2000/XP machines or configured to start with Windows 9X and ME.

Transparent Internet Connection Detection

If you're directly connected to the Internet through a hub, switch, router, cable/DSL modem, or phone line, DNS4Me can find your Internet connection. No extra configuration is necessary.

Fail Safe Reconnection

Sometimes, your Internet connection can be lost for extended periods of time while you're away. DNS4Me doesn't just try reconnectin five or six times if this happens. You can configure it to attempt to restore your DNS4Me service connection every 'x' minutes until infinity! As soon as your connection comes back, so does DNS4Me!
